Omaha Golf

Local Websites, Things To Do No Comments

Do you like to play golf but in a more competitive environment? Then we’ve come across a great site for you, The Omaha Golf Network. The Omaha Golf Network or the the “OGN” as they like to call it is a cool website where you can find other like minded competitive golfers in Omaha to match up against. The OGN site takes care of all the rankings, scores, stats, and flight information for you, so all you have to do is play your best golf. There is a small sign-up fee of $60 but you can play any golf course in town and they’ll match you up with similar handicaps to make it fair. Check out the Omaha Golf Network.

Our good friend Annie over at Whynotlime.com has been pushing,  “the greener side of life with a twist”  for the past few months now and we must say that it’s catching on. Going green is somewhat contagious and has inspired us at the Omaha-Review.com office to become more aware of our environment and how we go about our daily living. From recycling, to energy conservation, to reusable grocery bags, all of which have made our life a little greener.  If your curious about “Going Green” we encourage you to visit her blog Whynotlime.com and follow along for months, even years to come.

Well now we have a blog and it’s time to write. As you may have noticed we’ve started adding a Daily Spotlight and a Review of the Day to our homepage. The response has been terrific and the emails are pouring in asking how they can get featured on “Reveiw of the Day”. Well here’s your answer. WRITE A GOOD REVIEW. Provide some details about your experience and try to keep it positive. If you simply write “we ate there, it was good clark”, chances are you won’t see your review featured. Also, we’ve added our Daily Features to our Myspace page as well as our Huskerfriends, and Facebook. If you’re a member of these communities, stop by and add us as a friend. Not that we need to beg for your friendships.  :) Have a great Thursday!
